Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data LinkSale collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using LinkSale, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: display name, page slug, account identifiers, sign-in method metadata.
- Page content: links, avatars, visual settings, extra page text, and publication status.
- Subscription data: active plan, expiration date, and App Store transaction verification metadata.
- Analytics data: events used for views, unique visitors, clicks, CTR, and top-link metrics.
- Technical data: basic service logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Notification settings: push preferences, thresholds, and quiet-hours settings.
2. Why we process data
We process data to provide and improve LinkSale, including:
- creating and hosting public pages;
- saving your personalization and page configuration;
- publishing and resolving your public links;
- calculating analytics and performance summaries;
- enforcing plan limits and subscription access;
- sending product and engagement notifications;
- preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
3. Legal grounds
Depending on your location, we rely on one or more legal grounds: performance of contract, legitimate interests (service security and product improvement), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.
4. Public information
Content you publish to your page (for example, display name, avatar, and active links) is publicly available by URL. Do not include confidential or sensitive personal information in public fields.
5. Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers that help run LinkSale (for example, cloud hosting, infrastructure, logging, and App Store purchase verification). These providers process data under contractual safeguards.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. When this happens, we use appropriate legal and organizational measures to protect your data.
7. Data retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it according to our retention procedures.
8. Account deletion
You can request deletion from in-app settings. Deletion removes account data and associated pages from active systems, subject to minimal retention required for legal, security, and billing compliance.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and service-level protections, to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, or loss of data. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
10. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data.
You may also object to some processing, request data portability where applicable, and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
11. Children's privacy
LinkSale is not intended for children under the minimum age required by local law to use digital services without parental permission.
12. Policy changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, when appropriate, through in-app notice.
